IM Goh Wei Ming, Kevin's Chess Site

HomeAbout MeFeb 12, 2007
This is first and foremost, a Chess site. Most of my entries would be chess related, be it articles, results of tournaments, or my personal opinions of certain issues. Requests for particular openings investigation, games analysis and feedback are welcome. Nowadays, my life is getting busier and as such, it is starting to become more difficult to find the energy and motivation to write up a proper chess article, with diagrams and all..

My notable achievements:

23rd South East Asian Games, Manila Philipines: Bronze medals in Standard Chess Individuals, Team Rapid
22nd South East Asian Games, Ho Chi Minh Vietnam: Bronze medal in Team Rapid
Part of Singapore team in: 2004, 2006, 2008 World Chess Olympiad
4 time National Champion in Standard chess 2006,2007,2008,2009
2 time National Champion in Rapid Chess 2000,2005
3 time National Champion in Blitz Chess, 1999,2006,2011
Nanyang Technological University Sportsman of the Year 2006
1 GM norm

"However, the all-encompassing, condescending, acerbic tone can be watered down a bit; after all, the author of these lines is all of 20 rating points lower than your good self." --

It seems "the author" of these particular lines has problems with watering down a bit his condescending, acerbic tone. After all, despite his only slightly inferior rating, he still has the bag as many national champion titles as the good old Weiming. Grow up, kid. It will take you several years if not a decade. Learn some manners in the meantime, too. Ain't enough to be a young strong player. It takes a while to learn to be a man.
